It was two dingy and rather dirty old rooms that had only one window, and a boarded up archway at the front.

We started by completely removing the roof, replacing all the purlins, and making a completely new roof truss. No small task, but it was completed in glorious weather in a rainless September 2002.

And over the next four months the dim and dusty rooms were transformed into the luxurious flat that you have been looking at
